Keralit hoof bath

Keralit Hoof Bath stabilizes damaged areas and prevents further damage. Areas that have been undermined by disintegration processes and are not visible to the naked eye can be stabilized. Often without the vet/smarrier having to remove large areas of wall.

Thanks to the deep-acting regeneration, even hard-to-reach areas such as frog furrows and the white line are optimally cared for. The hoof bath for horses is particularly effective as it offers an ideal mixture of care and stabilization, which has both a preventative and regenerative effect. It creates an environment that is unfavorable for microorganisms that cause damage and at the same time strengthens the horn.

To obtain a ready-to-use solution, the concentrate must be dissolved in water. For a ready-to-use hoof bath for horses, a 5% solution is required, i.e. 5 grams of concentrate per 100 ml of water.

The total quantity of the preparation depends on the container in which the hoof is bathed. The recognizably damaged hoof areas should be below the liquid level. The damage covered is often significantly higher.

Approx. 250 to 500 ml are required in the treatment shoe, whereas approx. 1000 to 2000 ml are required in a rubber bucket.

Depending on the severity of the hoof damage, it should be applied once or twice a week for 10 to 20 minutes. Regular application is particularly recommended for horses with chronic hoof problems.
