Keralit Hoof Elast care oil is a liquid concentrate with over 90% plant-based oils such as laurel oil, avocado oil, and jojoba oil in a water-soluble and moisture-binding formulation. Thanks to its water-friendly properties, the dissolved care substances can penetrate the horn ideally, binding natural moisture within it. The horn's elasticity and resilience are improved. At the same time, the surface of the horn is not sealed.

Horses with dry hooves require special care to keep the horn supple and healthy. Keralit Hoof Elast care oil provides the horn with intensive moisture and protects it against drying out. Regular application ensures that the natural elasticity and stability of the hooves are maintained, which is particularly important during dry periods.

    • Due to its water solubility, the hoof can optimize its moisture content unhindered even with multiple applications. Especially during dry periods, the increased evaporation of moisture from the wall horn is prevented. The moisture balance of the hoof is supported in a regulating manner. This makes it ideal for dry hooves in horses, as it protects the horn and retains moisture. Conventional oils and greases, including pure laurel oil, do not allow this; they seal the pores. Rotting processes, especially in the nail area, can be the consequence.

    Keralit Hoof Elast also contains horn- and skin-nourishing substances from human cosmetics. These improve the elasticity of the horn, coronary band, and periople. The coronet area does not dry out, becomes more supple and elastic, and can therefore benefit from increased blood circulation during the horse's movement. The elasticity of the hoof increases the metabolism within the hoof. The hoof mechanism, growth, and horn quality are significantly improved.
