Keralit Hoof Bath

Keralit Hoof Bath stabilizes damaged areas and prevents further damage. Areas that have been undermined by disintegration processes and are not visible to the naked eye can be stabilized. Often without the vet/smith having to remove large areas of wall.

Thanks to the deep-acting regeneration, even hard-to-reach areas such as frog clefts and the white line are optimally cared for. The hoof bath for horses is particularly effective as it offers an ideal mixture of care and stabilization, which has both a preventative and regenerative effect. It creates an environment that is unfavorable for microorganisms that cause damage and at the same time strengthens the horn.

To obtain a ready-to-use solution, the concentrate must be dissolved in water. For a usable Hoof Bath for horses, a 5% solution is required, meaning 5 grams of concentrate per 100 ml of water.

The total amount of the mixture depends on the container in which the hoof is being bathed. The visibly damaged hoof areas should be below the liquid level. The damage often extends significantly higher than it appears.

Approximately 250 to 500 ml is required in a treatment boot, whereas approximately 1000 to 2000 ml is needed in a bucket or rubber bowl.

Depending on the severity of the hoof damage, application should take place once to twice a week for 10 to 20 minutes. Regular application is particularly recommended for horses with chronic hoof issues.
