Keralit Hoof Elast is a liquid concentrate containing over 90% plant oils such as laurel oil, avocado oil, and jojoba oil in a water-soluble and moisture-binding formulation. Thanks to its water-friendly properties, the dissolved care substances can be ideally absorbed into the horn, binding the natural moisture in the horn. The elasticity and resilience of the horn are improved. The horn surface is not sealed in the process.

Especially in dry periods, the increased evaporation of moisture from the wall horn is prevented. The hoof's water balance is regulated and supported. This makes it ideal for dry hooves on horses, as it protects the horn and retains moisture. Conventional oils and fats, including pure laurel oil, do not allow this, they seal the pores. This can result in rotting processes, especially in the nail area.

      Keralit Hoof Elast also contains horn and skin care substances from human cosmetics. These improve the elasticity of the horn, the coronet band and the coronet band.
